Blood drive coming to Lake City May 4-5

With a Lake City blood drive coming May 4-5, the American Red Cross encourages eligible individuals to give blood and help ensure a sufficient supply before the busy summer season begins.
May is Trauma Awareness Month. Donation can help assure that blood is readily available for patient emergencies, including traumas, according to the Red Cross. Every day, the Red Cross must collect nearly 14,000 blood donations for patients.
