Book giveaway kicks off county Alzheimer’s program
Community members interested in Alzheimer’s disease can pick up a free copy of “Still Alice,” an award-winning New York Times Bestseller written by neuroscientist Lisa Genova.
“Her book has been critically important to advancing the public’s understanding of Alzheimer’s,” according to the Wabasha County Senior Health Action Team. “This frank and open portrayal brings Alzheimer’s out of the shadows, helping to accelerate discussion and progress towards ending this disease.”
