Candlelight ski starts busy year at state park

There is no reason to think 2016 won’t be a big year at Frontenac State Park.

Last year was.

It will be the first full year as park manager for Caleb Jensen, who became manager last February after working two years at the park.

The new season gets an informal kick-off with its annual candlelight skiing event Jan. 23.

Jensen succeeded Jenny Dehns who moved on to a different Department of Natural Resources post in St. Paul after just over a year as park manager here.
