Capsule takes seniors back to Cub Scout days

When two Lincoln High School seniors showed up at City Hall recently to claim something of theirs, it took a while for City Hall staff to figure out what they were looking for.

The search led to the City Hall basement, and there it was, in a plastic storage bin – a time capsule the boys had stored there eight years ago.

The time capsule was a Cub Scouts project. The 11-year-old kids filled the box with personal items, letters to themselves and items of historical interest, like a current issue of the Graphic.
