Career fair introduces students to careers available in Lake City

On March 31 the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln High School, Workforce Development, and The Lake City Port Authority partnered to bring students in grades seven through 12 a spring career fair.

“We invited several local businesses to participate, and we had a great turnout with a large variety of businesses present,” Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Elizabeth Greenawalt said. “The goal of the event was to showcase Lake City businesses to the students and build awareness of how many types of jobs are right here in Lake City.”
