Christmas events wind down as holiday nears

Holiday lanes have been strolled, ugly sweaters partied in, Santa shopped with, windows judged, songs sung, lights lit, and numerous pop up shopping events held at local churches and organizations, all in the run-up to Christmas Eve on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Now, with the holiday less than a week away, public events are giving way to family and worship gatherings, for the most part. If you’re looking for a place to worship this Christmas, many local churches have advertised their services on page 2 of this issue.
