Church adds mural as it gears up for 150th anniversary in 2027
St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City is making plans to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2027. For more than a year, our Sesquicentennial Committee has been working to plan events that will bring together and include all ages of our parish and community.
One of our parishioners, Dolores Berg, designed this beautiful peace dove to brighten our utility box. The project was then taken on by Legacy Murals, who brought Dolores’s design to life and completed the mural this week.
