Church choir concert raises $550 for food shelf

St. John’s Choir director Joyce Zillgitt and accompanist Sandi Rodman presented $550 raised by the choir at its annual Christmas concert to the Lake City Food Shelf.

“A sincere thank you to all who attended St. John’s Choir Advent/Christmas Concert on Dec. 22 for the offering taken to benefit the Lake City Food Shelf,” the choir said in a news release. “Our thanks are also given to the many volunteers at the Food Shelf who give of themselves to make it possible for the members of this community to receive this service.
