City stakes out dog park

Stakes have appeared on a patch of land on North 10th Street between the Lake City Public Safety Building and the Wabahsa County Road 5 marking the location of a future city dog park.
Lake City Public Works Director Scott Jensen said that after a lot of discussion about adding a dog park a few years ago, the facility was added to the city’s capital plan for construction this year.
More work on plans and budgeting happened last year.
