Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser is Jan. 20
For several years, the basketball teams at Lincoln High School have used one home game as the focal point for a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society (ACS).
The girls team’s Coaches vs. Cancer game is tomorrow (Friday). The boys will do theirs Feb. 3.
This year the girls have expanded their activities to include volunteering. On Dec. 27, several members of the team served lunch to residents at Rochester’s Hope Lodge, which provides accommodations for people undergoing cancer treatment.
