Community support is key to food shelf success

The Lake City Food Shelf has served the greater Lake City Community since the early 1980s without having a paid staff or large corporate donors for support. Instead, the success of the Lake City Food Shelf can be attributed to many donors, giving varying amounts, and thousands of hours donated by many volunteers.
