Council tours under-utilized former public safety building

At a workshop meeting on Nov. 13, Lake City Council members toured the building at 209 S. High St.

Accompanying the council on the tour were City Administrator Keehn, City Finance Director Jerome Illg, and Assistant Public Works Director Travis Dunn.

Keehn told the council the purpose of the tour was to look at the building condition, current uses, and potential uses to help the council make a decision about the fate of the 10,000 foot largely windowless concrete block structure.
