Crop duster crashes near Elgin

A crop dusting helicopter hit a power line north of Elgin and crashed on Aug. 16, according to the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office. No one was injured.
Wabasha County Dispatch received a 911 call at about 3 p.m. that afternoon reporting “helicopter vs. power line crash just north of the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 8 north of Elgin in south-central Wabasha County,” according to a news release.
