Drum major carries on family legacy

For one Lake City Tiger Marching Band drum major, this season is more than just a leadership opportunity, it’s a continuation of a family legacy.
Drum Major Bella Lane is following in the footsteps of her mother, Lailoni Lane, who served as drum major at Winona High School in 1993. Now, more than three decades later, Bella is carrying that same tradition forward, leading the Tiger Marching Band with pride, confidence, and a deep personal connection to the role.
