Education was the theme of May Woman’s Club gathering
The May gathering of the Woman’s Club of Lake City (WCLC) focused on all things about education. The scholarship luncheon was held at the Copper Mug Restaurant. Committee members Nancy Malcomson and Jean Harris indicated that 25 applications were received this spring.The 2024 recipient is Bailee Kohrs. She attended with her grandmother, Donna Wurst. Bailee has been involved in volleyball, track and field, Teen Leadership Program, and National Honor Society. She plans to attend University of Wisconsin - La Crosse as a business major and participate in the volleyball program.
