Enger optimistic COVID won’t disrupt school year

Lake City Public Schools are seeing some COVID-19 cases in the early part of the 2022-2023 school year.

The most recent COVID-19 report on the school website listed five confirmed cases at Bluff View Elementary School and one at Lincoln High School.

Supt. Erick Enger addressed the topic during his report at the Sept. 19 School Board meeting.

He said that the numbers on the school website reflect what the district is reporting to the state.
