Fifth grader Piper Horton wins Angus crown

Piper Horton, a fifth grader from Lake City who attends Plainview-Elgin-Millville school, has been crowned the 2026 Miss Minnesota Angus Princess.
Horton competes and shows Registered Black Angus Cattle at a county, state and national level. She traveled to Albany, Minn., recently with her family for the Minnesota Angus Association banquet, awards show, and state sale.
