Fire department open house is Saturday

The Lake City Fire Department will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 9, at the fire station from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Fire Safety USA will be on hand for fire extinguisher checks, recharging, and replacement sales of fire extinguishers.
“Come meet your local fire fighters, explore our equipment and fire trucks, ask questions and learn about fire safety, enjoy a treat, enter to win door prizes, and more,” the department said in a news release.
