Five for Food announces $30,000 goal, sponsorships still available
Five for Food, an initiative of the Greater Lake City Community Foundation for the Lake City Food Shelf, begins its seventh year on Feb. 15. The drive will end on March 31.
Eighteen sponsors have stepped forward with contributions from $500 to $1,000 for a total of $13,000. The sponsors’ funds are pooled to match dollar for dollar contributions $5 and greater up the total of the sponsor’s pool. The goal for 2021 is $30,000. Last year the goal of $26,000 was surpassed by $5,000.
