After a decade on display at the Lakeside Antiques, the cash register that August T. Abraham purchased in 1915 and used in his shoe store traveled down the street to its new home at Dilly Dallies.
On the way, it passed the historic location of Abraham’s store at 110 S. Main Street-now Lakeshore Drive.
Deb and Greg Schreck agreed to host the artifact at Lakeside Antiques after it was donated to the Lake City Historical Society by Clyde O’Neil.
It is now on display at Dilly Dallies under the care of owners Brad and Michelle Austin.
