Historical Society lends phone to Bluff View student

Following the visit to City Hall by Lincoln High School students, the Lake City Historical Society sent an early telephone from our collection (circa 1900 and used by the Dwelle Telephone Company) to represent them at Bluff View Elementary’s Living History event. Fifth grader Rachel Plank demonstrated how these early phones were used in her presentation about Alexander Graham Bell.
