Historical Society plans guided walking tours during marina open house

Longtime harbormaster Mark Lutjen will be at the Marina Building Saturday, Aug. 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. during the Marina Open House to talk with visitors about the history of the Lake City Marina. Visitors can also see historical artifacts that are on display in the mini-museum located in the reception area.

Lake City Historical Society volunteer Katie Himanga will lead half hour guided walks that begin on the hour, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Tours are limited to 12 people and depart from the Marina Building.
