Humane society gets $10,000 donation from pet shelter volunteer’s estate
Tom and Kathe Graham attended the Hiawatha Animal Humane Society (HAHS) meeting recently to donate $10,000 from the estate of their longtime friend Al Fisher. Al and his dog, Stinker, both passed away in January of 2023.
Al and Tom were childhood friends and neighbors. Many years later, Al, Tom and Kathe became neighbors in Wabasha. Al left his estate to Tom and Kathe to donate as they chose. They have been honored to take on the assignment of passing Al’s kindness along to several charities, HAHS among them.
