Hundreds of flags add up to another impressive display

The River Walk in Lake City took on a patriotic aspect over Water Ski Days weekend with a line of 850 American flags spanning from Park Street nearly to Central Point Road.
The Lake City American Legion Post 110 and its Auxiliary organize the display each year as fundraiser.
For a suggested $10 donation, people can sponsor a flag in honor someone who is their hero. Attached to each flag is a card bearing the name of an honoree.
