Hundreds walk lighted state park trails after dark
About 400 people came out to Frontenac State Park on Saturday night to walk trails lit by luminaries and a beautiful full moon for the park’s annual candelight walk.
In an ordinary year, the luminaries would have been made of ice, not candles in wax-coated bags, and people would also have been snowshoeing and skiing, but not this strange winter.
Nonetheless, it was a beautiful evening.
Members of the Frontenac State Park Association greeted visitors with bonfires, hot chocolate and sweets.
