Janik to speak on ‘Pistols and Petticoats’
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a book talk on “Pistols and Petticoats: 175 Years of Lady Detectives in Fact and Fiction” by Erika Janik on Saturday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m.
Janik is an award-winning author of a variety of books. She is the recipient of a 2011 Wisconsin Historical Society Award of Merit for History Writing, 2009 North American Travel Journalists Association award for historical travel writing as well as the 2007 William B. Hesseltine Award.
