July 22 walkers will trek to Rattlesnake Bluff

Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) participants will be walking in Frontenac State Park on July 22.  If the weather is not too hot and humid the group will walk out to the overlook from Rattlesnake Bluff, a two mile round trip, and enjoy a view of Wacouta and the Mississippi flowing north to Red Wing.
There is a time change this week, the walkers will meet at 6 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m.
The terrain of the trail is grass, with some change in elevation. Walking poles are suggested, as well as good walking shoes.  There will be poles available for use.  Bug spray is also advised.
