Karsten to share stories of the stars May 8
Anna Karsten will be the guest speaker at the Lake City Public Library on Tuesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m.
Looking up at the sky, people see stars, planets, the moon, the sun, and other astronomical wonders.
• What is the story behind those objects?
• Why do stars glow?
• Why do we only see the dark side of the moon?
• Why do the planets wander?
• What is a nebula?
Anna will take people on a journey behind the sights in the night sky and describe how those wonders came to be and how they will change through time.
