Lake City church has impact in Liberia

The lack of clean drinking water presents a significant health risk for many in third world countries, according to the Lake City United Methodist Church (LCUMC). Children are especially at risk.
For the last five years LCUMC has been helping to provide clean water to remote villages in Liberia, West Africa. To date over 1,200 Sawyer filters have been distributed and recipients have been trained in their proper use.
