Lake City natives run New York City Marathon

Lake City natives and sisters Katie Halder and Carie Wille ran the New York City Marathon on Nov. 5, finishing with times of 3:14:25 and 3:15:38, respectively.
It’s the fifth marathon together for the daughters of Lake City residents Bill and Bonnie Fuhrman.
Halder and Wille began running together as teenagers and were teammates on the state champion Lake City girls cross country team in 1997.
