Lake City Sportsman’s Club readies for ice fishing contest
Last Saturday, the Frontenac Sportsman’s Club held its ice fishing contest on Frontenac Pond. This Saturday the Lake City Sportsman’s Club is holding theirs on the ice of Lake Pepin, just offshore from the club at 2200 S. Oak Street in Lake City.
Events at the 54th annual fishing contest begin with a free fishing contest for anglers ages 0-15 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Bingo in the clubhouse runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The silent auction begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Food will be served all day.
