Legion, Auxiliary contribute $1,000 to ‘Five for Food’
Representatives of Lake City’s American Legion Post and Auxiliary recently presented a $1,000 check to the Lake City Food Shelf as part of Greater Lake City Community Foundation’s annual “Five for Food” initiative for the Food Shelf.
The funds for the donation were raised as part of the annual Flags of Valor program co-sponsored by the American Legion Post and Auxiliary.
Carlstrom asked the community to respond with donations by March 31. The goal for this year is $55,000.
