Legion loses close one to Chatfield

The Lake City American Legion Post 110 Baseball Team lost a hard fought game in Chatfield on Monday night by a score of 3-2.
Chatfield American Legion Post 197 jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after the first two pitches of the game via a Luke Conica single followed by a Carter Daniels triple and a Lake City error. Chatfield would tally on the eventual deciding run in the 3rd inning following a leadoff double by Daniels taking a 3-0 lead until the fifth inning.
