Letter: We like Lake City the way it is
To the editor:
We are new to Lake City so I would like to add my perspective from a newbie.
We found the point on Lake Pepin by accident late last summer. Before we bought, we came down one Sunday morning and just walked all over the town and we felt so at home. We are from a small town in southern Minnesota, and when we moved to the Twin Cities area we lost that feeling of community. But that is exactly what we found in Lake City, such a feeling of community; pride in your community that we bought out at the point.
