Library to host author B. Wayne Quist Sept. 6
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to join them on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 6:30 p.m. when they host author B. Wayne Quist.
Quist will tell the story of the 1876 Northfield Bank Robbery by the James-Younger gang from the perspective of a nearby small Swedish immigrant community and how it overcame hardship and tragedy.
In telling his story, Quist will also sort through facts and fiction surrounding Frank and Jesse James, Cole Younger, and the James-Younger Gang.
