Library hosts Parkinson’s Disease program on April 11

In recognition of Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, the Lake City Public Library (LCPL) invites the public to attend a free informational program geared toward patients with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), their caregivers, family members, and others interested in the disease on Thursday, April 11, at 6 p.m..
This presentation, led by Patty Svien, physical therapist, takes place at the Lake City Public Library.
Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative disease that primarily affects dopamine-producing neurons in a certain part of the brain.
