Local vet among those celebrating National Submarine Day April 11

On Sunday, April 11, submarine veterans will reinstate National Submarine Day traditions in Minnesota and invite the public to “join members of the Silent Service to celebrate the birthdate of the American submarine.”
Ceremonial events take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
