Manufacturers honor Barb Haley
State Rep. Barb Haley (District 21A) was one of two legislators honored by the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association (MPMA) at its Feb. 23 Member Program, which featured former Governor Tim Pawlenty.
Rep. Haley was recognized with the Manufacturing Workforce Champion award for her work on the Youth Skills Training Program legislation and for engaging employers and school districts to participate in the program, according to a news release from Haley. Also, Haley was recognized for authoring the Workforce Development Scholarship Program.
