Member appreciation event appreciated
I want to express appreciation for the Lake City Area Arts (LCAA) Member Appreciation Event on Sunday. The band (Inside Straight Blues Band) was great! It made me want to get up and dance—and so I did!
And I wasn’t alone. A lot of people of all ages got up out of their chairs and let the music move them. Whether it was “Moondance” or “Walk the Dog”, there was a lot of shuffling feet and clapping hands.
I also heard the comment “makes me think of being in Natchez.”
