Those old country churches carry so much history.
South Troy Wesleyan Church, the little white, wood-frame building along Highway 63 near Zumbro Falls, dates to 1882.
Pastors and church leaders have come and gone. Milestones were celebrated, memories were made.
But one of the best stories is how South Troy Wesleyan - which will mark its 170th anniversary with an ice cream social fundraiser on Aug. 22 and a celebration after the service on Aug. 23 - was brought back to life.
