Packing for the Weekend receives $10,000 challenge grant for third year
The Greater Lake City Community Foundation recently presented a $10,000 check to support the Lake City Packing for the Weekend Program.
This is the third year of a challenge grant from an anonymous donor through the donor’s Donor-Advised Fund.
Donor-Advised Funds allow a donor to make a contribution to the foundation while still maintaining the ability to, in the future, donate to charities in a manner consistent with the mission of the foundation, the foundation said in a news release .
