Plenty of snow for Winterfest
Thanks to Tuesday’s snowstorm, there will be adequate snow cover for outdoor events during Winterfest Friday evening and Saturday in Lake City.
A new event last year, human foosball, will join snow sculpture, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, target golf, a broom ball tournament and the traditional smoosh races as outdoor events.
Also there will be several activities indoors.
Activities will begin Friday evening with a bang.
Fireworks over Lake Pepin will be set off starting at 6 p.m. Friday.
