Registration open for third annual 'Flags of Valor' display
The American Legion and Legion Auxiliary Post 110 will be presenting a patriotic display of 600 flags along the Riverwalk from Ohuta Park north toward the Willows on June 20 through June 24, which is Water Ski Day weekend in Lake City.
“Your support and donations are needed to make this possible. Donate $10 per flag in memory or in honor of a person, family, business and have that name on a flag,” organizers said in a news release.
All funds raised will be used for veteran projects, scholarships, and local community projects.
