Robertson to present on space phenomena Oct. 10 at library
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to “Asteroids, Comets, and Other Stuff” with NASA ambassador Dennis M. Robertson, on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
“Join Dennis in a discussion involving objects that visit our planet from outer space. He will review recent and past planetary impacts from asteroids and comets, the current threat to our planet by objects from outer space, NASA’s scientific missions to the asteroids, and NASA’s involvement in Planetary Defense,” the library said in a news release.
