Scholarships offered for aquatic invasive species detectors

The Wabasha County aquatic invasive species program is offering a scholarship of $200 for up to three people to attend the “Become an AIS Detector” training offered by the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center.
The cost of the training is $175/person. Scholarship would cover training cost and up to $25 travel expenses.
Requirements for the scholarship program is to have an interest in AIS in Wabasha County and beyond, complete the scholarship application and be a resident of Wabasha County.
