School staff make annual ‘Cookies for a Cause’ donation to Packing for the Weekend
Again this year, the staff of Lake City Public Schools, through their “Cookies for a Cause” program, provided Christmas cookies and other snacks for the weekend (P4W) program.
They included approximately 64 dozen cookies, along with 32 bags of Chex mix and a similar number of frosted pretzels.
“The effort and the many hours required to make this happen are greatly appreciated by the families and the P4W team,” Packing for the Weekend organizers said in a news release.
