Scouting for food collection is Saturday
The Lake City Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts have teamed up again this year for another food drive.
Scouting For Food is a nationwide food drive sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America which was started over 30 years ago as a way for troops and packs to help the families in need in the community that supports them.
Last Saturday the boys, went around town hanging flyers on every door in Lake City to let residents know that this Saturday, Nov. 18, they will be out again to collect donations for the food shelf in Lake City.
