Scouts to collect food Nov. 19
Every year far too many families go without enough food. Some even in your own community. Since 1985, The Boy Scouts of America have been holding an annual nationwide food drive “Scouting For Food”.
The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Lake City are teaming up to help support the community, and collect food for the Lake City Food Shelf.
Last Saturday, Nov. 12, people may have seen them out hanging flyers or may have found a flyer on their door letting them know that this Saturday, Nov. 19 they will be out again collecting any donations people have.
