Senior dining, now 50, thrives in modern home

LaDora Bremer has been a part of the senior dining program at Lake Pepin Plaza since she and her husband moved into the senior apartment complex in 2006.

She and her husband Willard not only dined there but helped volunteer.

When Willard died in 2010, LaDora continued working and dining there.

“She is a godsend,” site manager Sue Leonhardt said. “She works three hours a day, five days a week.” Among other things, she takes donations for meals and reservations for future days.
