Sesquicentennial goes out with a bash

The Lake City 150th Celebration culminated Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Lake City Sportsman’s Club where an enthusiastic crowd danced “through the decades.”

Many turned out in attire harkening back to bygone. Flapper outfits from the 1920s and tie dye and other hippie paraphernalia from 1960s were especially prevalent.

Outside a spotlight shone a rotating beam of light into the sky that was visible from miles out of town.
